Study Tours and Group Programs

Hawthorn-Melbourne has over 20 years’ experience delivering English language short courses to groups of students both on and offshore. We have run courses for all types of groups, including high school students, postgraduates, business managers and practitioners.

Whether you want a group study and travel experience, or just the English language class components, we can create a tailored package for you.

Generally, we run these courses from February to April and July to October. We will consider requests outside these dates on a case by case basis.

English study tours

Our study tour programs combine intensive English language classes with group excursions and activities exploring Australia. You can book closed programs (for stand alone groups) and open programs (classes with other Hawthorn-Melbourne students from around the world).

Tours include:

  • intensive English language classes
  • cultural studies program
  • excursions to tourist attractions
  • optional homestay with an Australian family.

We can also provide study tours for specific purposes, including a wide range of technical and professional areas.

English language study abroad programs

We have connections with universities who send groups of students to Hawthorn-Melbourne as part of their undergraduate studies.

We place students into our regular ELICOS classes according to their level of English. Students benefit from the international experience these classes offer, as their classmates come from all around the world.

All students on these programs can use all the services and facilities available to our regular ELICOS students.

When students successfully complete their course at Hawthorn-Melbourne, they are eligible for credit. This is awarded by their home university.
